I love lazy Sundays, and wish every day was one! I had little planned all weekend which was GREAT. There's always something to do, and when nothing is planned, I LOVE it! This afternoon, I blasted my iTunes and worked in my office for hours. Hours passed and I didn't even realize it. (OK, maybe that was because of the two glasses of pinot noir??? Not sure...) Anyway, I got lots done, but still have hours of work on Pat's scrapbook that I keep for him - basically, all the Patriot News articles on Middletown B-ball, and the Press and Journal. The pile is about 8 inches now, and when it's one foot, I promise to scrapbook it then! I'm waiting for a cold, snowy weekend to devote to that!
Yesterday, I grocery shopped, brought all the things home, put them away and started supper when the phone rang. Joe answered and all that I could hear was, "Yes, this is Joseph M*******, oh my God, really, really, that's horrible, I'll be right there." My heart sank while making my Dream Dinner. I said, "Joe, what's wrong, was there an auto accident?" He said, "No, you left your wallet at the grocery store." OMG! Is that it??????? All that drama over a wallet???? Ok, guilty, I did leave my wallet in the cart......... And, I'll have you know, I have a new-found faith in the folks in Central Pa. All the money was left in it! All $40! And trust me, that's a lot, 'cause I NEVER carry any money! The only reason the cash was there was because I sold lottery tickets for Pat's fundraiser the night before! Hallelujah! My $40 was there! (I won't mention that my sister left her paid-for bagged groceries in the cart when Jordan was a baby!!)
That was our drama for the weekend. My 10 year old wallet is safe, all of its' contents in tact, and my Dream Dinner was fantastic - Chicken Marsala, with NO toothticks added!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND DON'T WORK TOO HARD!
