It's 16 degrees here today, and this morning, I woke up to this lovely fire in the fireplace. There's nothing like it on a cold morning, watching the hot timbers, and listening to its' crackling, with a nice hot cup of coffee. Awwwwww, the simple things in life; remember to enjoy them daily...

Some Blog Edits...

I did some editing this weekend but not much. You really need to know how to read code when making a lot of the changes, and I just don't know how to do that. Anyway, this layout seemed to fit everything in it that I wanted, so I'm gonna give it a try for a while. If I don't like it and like how it posts, etc., I'll mix it up again. The previous posts got messed up a little, but like I said, without the ability to read code, it's just too difficult to fix. I added the random b-ball shot just to see how it works with photos.

This Blog...

Blogger has added so many more features and updates since I started my blog; changing the background color is one. I didn't have much time to play around with it, but I intend to do a total make-over this weekend. I hope we get 20 inches of snow and are snowed in, and I can work on this, and other home-office projects. I lost my sidebar in the midst of this change, and I can't seem to get it back. Remember, my little Flickr tile, and my Pennlive link, etc? I'll have to work on that later.

I love reading other folks' blogs. I think people are so wildly creative. I love looking at photos of places I'll never go, or reading about lives I can't imagine. I remember once, finding a set of twin boys' blogs: One was a dental student, and the other, a med student. Really smart kids, with interesting lives. They were struggling through, and persevering. I wonder if they ever graduated? Do you think Pat will start a blog next year, in college????? NOT!

Our Final Basketball Season

I intentionally didn't post anything about basketball season this year; it's just too painful for me to do so. I mean that, honestly. Anyway, I love our Raiders; they play so hard and with such heart, and try their best - they really do. They are out-coached, and out-matched almost every game. Anyway, I reluctantly will post a few photos I took last night. I was trying some different settings on my camera 'cause I'm never able to take good photos while inside a gym. These turned out decent. Check out Pat's body contortion after he shoots; I think it's a riot. GO RAIDERS!
