Sometimes I get lucky...

and capture a good at bat... I just happened to stand up at our Regional tourny game today, and shot this of Pat's second at bat. It was a three run homer! I was happy to capture this photo, and a baseball dad was kind enough to run and get me the game winning ball (don't tell Coach Williams!). The photo of Pat running in is a little blurry 'cause I was jumpin' up and down like a maniac... This is one of those days when you gotta say to yourself, does it get any better than this????

Jen's Wedding

Just wanted to post a few pics from my cousin's wedding in Rochester. We had the greatest time! Really lovely people, so hospitable and generous! Everyone made us feel so welcome and made us feel very special on such an important occasion! We danced all night long - some really really bad dancing... Had fun nonetheless! Take a look at my gorgeous second cousins. The girls made us pose for the one with three sisters from different generations. Isn't that a great photo? I'm glad they thought of it! I can't wait for more weddings and more dancing! (Ok, I guess I can wait, don't wanna push anyone into a wedding so that the crazy aunts can dance!) Enjoy, and have a great week!

fyi...

Pls make sure you click on the "Next Blog" button at the top of this blog when you are surfing sometime; it'll be worth your while. Really really makes you realize what a small piece we are in this big wide world. It truly amazes me the talent and creativity that folks all around the world have and have poured into their blogs - very inspiring. I love looking at the photos from blogs in far off places.

I've lived and worked in a box for far too long...

Happy Long Weekend...

I woke up at 6 am on Friday, the 4th - my body thinkin' it was a work day... I got a lot done though and enjoyed that time alone. Today, I slept in until 8 am (body realizing it's a Saturday!).

Pat's Grad Party is over - it was HUGE success and thx to everyone who came and made it so special for us! It was GREAT and Pat really had fun; that's really all that mattered. Now, I feel like I can enjoy the rest of the summer, and get some projects done that I've been putting aside. I'm working on a cork board from wine bottles corks that we've been collecting for years and years. I'm looking forward to that project. Also, I have a stack of newspapers that need to be clipped for articles that I save for Pat's scrap book. That's always a time-consuming project.

Other than that, nothing much going on here. Just wanted to post a few photos from the party and a picture or two from our big win over Paxton yesterday! Check out the boys explaining the scewed strike zone! We had to fight for every call; typical Middletown sporting event. Umps and Refs hate us; wonder why? ha!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and have a great week!
