We saw this movie yesterday at the beach; very thought provoking. What happened to Clint's neighborhood in Detroit, sorta happened to the one I grew up in. We didn't like it either. But, things change. Often times, we don't like change, but nonetheless, they change. I got the message in Clint's movie, and understood the premise. This movie was so typical "Eastwood," it was unreal. If this was Clint's final movie in his renowned career, then, it was a good one! I was with my sisters, and we just kept saying during the movie, "so typical Clint." Really good movie, and a strong message to see and hear. Don't wait for the DVD on this one; grab a matinee ticket, pack a water, and enjoy the film!

Some Updates...

First off, people have asked me if that was me skim-boarding in the photo below - yes, that's me, last year at the beach... (cough, cough....) Anyway, hope everyone is well; it's been a while since I blogged. If you must know the reason: the reason is because now I .... I can hardly say it fellow Bloggers... Ok, here it is: Now, I facebook! That's right, I facebook! ha! A friend of my sister's asked me to befriend her, and join - she could share her photos with me, etc. Reluctantly, I joined. I'm still getting used to it, and am figuring out if I like it or not. I'm a blogger through and through, so I'm not so sure about the facebook thing. I guess I'll give it a try though.

Also, Joe bought me a mini-laptop - so, every night, I clean up my supper dishes, maybe do a load of laundry, do one chore (sometimes), then I get in bed with my mini... Fun! I really like it a lot. It has a different operating system other than windows, so every night, I'm trying to explore that, and learn a little bit about it. This one program shows the earth, your locale, and the local stars and constellations on any given night. Really cool. I'll love this when I'm at the beach, or on vacation.

Pat's really busy with school and baseball and looking forward to Spring Training in Fl. I leave on the 28th to join them in Fl, and can't wait. I'll blog and post photos; that'll be a fun trip as I'll be spending time with Carol on the West Coast as well. More on that later...
