Updates and a few pics...

Figured I'd do a little updating tonight while I'm uploading some pictures! Hope all is well with you, and that you are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Spring just as I am! This weather today was awful! I really dislike Central PA...it's awful, and why I live here, I have no idea.

We beached it this past weekend and did little things around the house; walked each day around the neighborhood and ate out. It was great! The big high wall behind our bed needed something desperately, so we took a copper art hanging we had in a hallway here in Middletown and put it up on that wall. Well, it looked GREAT! I had to take pictures 'cause it had BLOG written all over it! Take a look at it; how great does that look? The other picture is the addition to the front porch. I had envisioned chairs like this on my front, in a funky color and when I saw them at ACE Hardware for $19.99 (the cheap plastic version) I said, "I must have them." All in all, the house is coming along, and we just love it, and will relocate there as soon as we can. We love it so much in the winter months, and can't imagine the great fun that awaits us in the spring and summer...

Have a great weekend and THINK SPRING!

Florida is so beautiful!

Pat's having an amazing time and enjoying this experience; I'm so happy for him. He actually got to play yesterday and did pretty well - got a double and pitched an inning - two strike outs, one walk, and a ground out. All the boys shaved their heads at the pool the first night they got here (I think they look weird), but it's an Etown "tradition" - they do it every year. I walked the beach today after our doubleheader, and will wander down to another beach in a few minutes. I'm a bit lonely but I'll survive; I know I will. Tomorrow, we have another doubleheader, and another Mom who came by herself and I will have dinner - something to do. On Wednesday, we may go to Fort Lauderdale to see the Orioles vs. the Dominican Republic. I'll blog later about all of that but in the meantime, enjoy the pics!
