Goodbye to Raider Baseball...
Here's some pics from our last high school baseball game. Pat had a good game and had a good experience on the mound, and I believe, was melancholy about playing his last game. It was like the last basketball game, but not quite as bad. He's moved on mentally, I believe, and everything's good. He's so excited for Etown, he really is. I couldn't be any happier.
Note: I stopped at Target for some graduation cards that I'm going to be sending out, and cried while looking at them... Stay tuned for lots of emotion, both happy and sad, from me. It's a bittersweet time in our lives, for sure. I can't imagine my life in three short months...

Memories of Prom Past...
Not much going on; just gearing up for the end of the HS baseball season as tomorrow is our last game - getting ready for the prom, graduation...it's going to get crazy busy around here very soon! I think Pat's excited for prom this year (I don't think he really knew what to expect last year), but I think he'll enjoy it this time around! He and I had a rather frank discussion today while sitting at Friendly's (yes Nicole, we went to Friendly's...ha!) I told him that while I realize that he's not out-going, I would like for him to be involved in some of the business clubs, and get involved in student life at Etown. He was quite upset by my observation that I had of him, and he reminded me that he made Homecoming Court, and that he is, in fact, friendly and out-going. END OF DISCUSSION MOTHER!!!!!!! Ok, so, today I learned that my kid is out-going and friendly, and hence, I EXPECT THAT BOY TO JOIN EVERY DARN CLUB THERE IS TO BE HAD ON THE CAMPUS OF E-TOWN COLLEGE!!!!! End of my Discussion!
The Prom is next weekend, and I'll be sure to post some photos next weekend, but here's some from prom past: Enjoy, and have a great week! I can't believe how much the kids have changed in one year; unreal!
P.S., I'm still LOVING my job; shame I didn't do it 10 years ago!
