Jose' Cura & Ewa Malas-Godlewska
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wtgoC9scxE
I couldn't post this as I normally do; I hope this link gets you to Jose' Cura's video - Song of Love. Such a great song. (btw, could he be any hotter???)
Anway, Joe and I are working on a bunch of songs together, and this is how I envision our videos to look like...
Joe, do you think you can lift me like that?
Should I revisit this????

It's 25 Bloody Degrees Outside!
It isn't supposed to be this cold, right? Aren't we supposed to be in the 40's or something like that? This my friends, is ridiculous! On Saturday, I didn't step foot outside of my house! Joe made a fire (in the fireplace!) and I sat in front of it, burning to death, while writing out the Christmas cards. I looked at him at one point and said, "This room could not be any more perfect." How do you like that for gratitude? It was great! The snow even came down a bit later that night. Anyway, I hear it's gonna get a little warmer this week, and am looking forward to it.
I decorated the house last weekend, and am sharing some pictures of my work. Why do we kill ourselves every year to put all of this junk out, and then take it down a few weeks later? I used my Mom's small Christmas tree again this year, and all of the ornaments we collected through the years -mostly things of Pat's; brought in the shell pencil tree from the sun room to the foyer; and decorated the top of the entertainment hutch. I loved all my creations this year - did some different things, and would love for it to stay up longer. We should start a tradition: let's take down our decorations on Valentine's Day!
Note my Bethany Beach Caroler. How cute is he? My sister-in-law got that for me this year on vacation.
Have a GREAT week, and STAY WARM!

A few updates...
The move-in day went well at the beach, and it's looking very very nice. We cleaned it top to bottom, even though it was hardly dirty! It's cleaner than this house, that's for sure! It looked great, and the furniture arrived last week. I'm posting a few photos. The round table was a huge splurge for us because it was rather expensive. It went so well with the furniture, so we got it! Still haven't found a dining room table and chairs, but that can wait.
I walked the new neighborhood for an hour and discovered all the different streets, and short ways to walk to the pool. I walked down to the marina, and it looks very very cool. There's a huge deck around the entire waterway and looks like maybe you can bring a chair and watch the sunset by the water. I plan on doing that with a Corona or two! That's the update on the beach place; very very cool...
Can you believe that we saw snow flurries this morning? That's just downright depressing...
Work is going well, however, I'm very very busy, and working on a major project that I'm really unsure of, but I guess I'll figure it out as I go.
Had a girls night out on Friday night, which was fun, and, a huge THX to you gals btw. If you haven't been to the Eagle Hotel in Linglestown, at the square, do go. It's very very good, with a nice, laid back atmosphere. I'd go again in a minute.
I'm off to lunch with Mar and the two babies, and Em. I'll take pics of the babies, and post them later this week! OOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, they are so cute......
Have a great great week my friends!

Some of my beachy things...
We close on Friday at the beach house (those of you who know me know all about this, so I won't elaborate). I wanted to post a few of my favorite things we're gonna take. I had this make-up table since we lived in our apartment, circa 1984 or '85. It's been here and there through the years, but mostly found it's home in our attic. Joe painted it a rather beachy color to brighten things up! I fell in love with it all over again; I think it looks great and I can't wait to put it in our bedroom. I'd love to find a cute little stool or funky fun chair to go with it! I want all beachy colors down there: aquas, blues, light greens, corals, pinks... Yep, it's gonna look like a beach house if it kills me! I found the lamp at Marshall's - a great find with Mother of Pearl, that I thought would look great in the living room.
I'll surely post after next weekend; after the weekend of cleaning, and cleaning, some more cleaning, and perhaps a dinner or two... This my friends, is more than any wildest dream I've ever had... I'm one lucky girl...who grew up in a row home in Steelton, shared one very small bedroom with my two sisters, and wouldn't change it for the world...

Heather...
I took a picture of this so that you could fully understand what I'm dealing with! The other night, I pushed Mack off the bed three times - he came back up each and every time. He beat me down... It's hard time in my house between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Some mornings, when the alarm goes off, I'm actually looking forward to getting out of that bed! Joe says that he's going to build a Greyhound Bed, just for you know who... Do you think he'll sleep in it???

Chaos...
This is not like me to be surrounded by piles and piles of clutter and things that need to be organized, filed, clipped, scrapbooked, etc... But, look at all of these piles that I've been looking at for about six months! Today folks, it all stops!!!!!!!!! I pledge to work for at least 1/2 hour or 45 mins. every night until my life returns to the clutter-free zone that I'm used to! I keep adding to the piles, instead of working on them, and today I couldn't take it another minute! I figured if I blogged about it and memorialized it in photographs, I'd have to tackle it.
I think I'll work for a 1/2 hour or so right now, hmmmmm, ok, maybe 15 mins. on the small pile. How's that for procrastination? Ha~~~~~~~~~~~
Have a GREAT week, and work on your clutter...

Is McCain Palin's Bitch?
This is SOOOOOO funny! I'm really enjoying the satire during these last few weeks of the election; so much FUN! We've been calling our Dawnydoos, Sarah Palin. Don't know why, but she's so Sarah Palin-like!

We're Blue Jay's Now!

Pat made the baseball team, and we're so happy for him! It was scarey there for a while, but it's over, he made it, and we couldn't be happier! The best part of this entire experience: Pat can go to the coach, ask for a tutor, and he'll get one!!! Guess what, Tutor, HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BLUE JAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the biggest days of my life...
We took Pat to school today; it went great! Did I cry and blubber my way home through downtown Etown? Not really. Joe and I talked on the way home and while I'm sad that I won't see my boy every single day, I'm thrilled, as this is the day he's been working so hard for the last four years. He's well prepared and he's going to one of the best colleges in the area. I couldn't be happier for him!
Was it hard for Pat? Yes. He hugged me so hard when we said our goodbyes, and I saw a twinkle in his eyes. This may be harder for him than anyone else ... Think about it. He's been King Tut of this domain for years and years; he's been Big Man on Campus for a few of those years. No more... He's a tiny little freshman in a sea of Big Men on Campus... He'll be fine though; I've prepared him for this humbling experience for a long time.
We love our kids so much, don't we?
He indulged me and let me take a few photos throughout the day. I thank him for that; I know how hard that was.
Enjoy the photos, and call me for dinner some night... :)

Awww, Bethany Beach...
Just wanted to post a few pictures from our trip to the beach this year... It was fabulous - the beach, the weather, the company, the parties, the dancing, the drinking, the food.... All wonderful!
I have a hectic, busy upcoming week... Pat leaves on Thursday for college. It's all good; he's going to a great school, he's growing up, and I'll be one with my husband... Omg... You can find me at the state mental ward... (that's a joke...)
Have a great week!
