I realize I haven't been writing much, but I've been so busy with Graduation parties, preparation for our party which is on Saturday, and Legion Games. Things will slow down shortly and I'll get back into it. I do miss my computer time. Believe it or not, I've even been buying my cards at Target instead of making them on the computer... I needed one for tomorrow, so I did just whipped one out, and realized how much I do miss it! It's so personal to me... Anyone can buy a card at a store, but to make a card for someone is more special, in my opinion anyway...On the job front, things couldn't be better! I absolutely LOVE my job! Geez, it's been so long since I've said that, and it feels really good! I've finished with one Newsletter that just went out last week, and now I'm putting together yet another one. I'm Editor in charge of both of them, and when different phases of them were going on at the same time, my head spun a bit. Now that the one is final, I can concentrate on this current one. Just about every day or so, I'm given a project to start and figure out. My current assignment is writing a script for a video that we are shooting for recruitment purposes. Quite honestly, I knew nothing about any of this when I went to my first meeting, but by the next day, I figured out where to get my information from, I interviewed two employees who held the job previously, and wrote a script. I got my first travel assignment - to Scranton - where we'll shoot the video. Does the fun ever end????
On the home front, Pat's really gearing up for E-town and is very excited. We had our Orientation last week which went really well. He got his schedule and it seems very doable, and interesting. His next step is filling out paperwork to get his roommate. I'm telling him to embellish a little and say he's pretty tidy.... I don't want him ending up with a slob. Oh, that's right, he's the slob.... Maybe they put a slob together with a neat freak just to even it out??? What do ya think?
I can't tell you the pride and happiness I'm feeling right now, knowing Pat's going to a nice little school...my cup is overflowing at the moment...
